A BODY has been pulled from the River Avon in Durrington.
Wiltshire Police says that officers were called at 1.15pm yesterday after the body of a man was discovered.
His identity has not yet been released.
The force added that enquires suggest there is nothing suspicious surrounding his death.
A statement from the police said: "We received a call at 1.15pm yesterday reporting that a body of a man had been found in the River Avon in Durrington.
"Officers attended and confirmed that the man was sadly deceased.
"Our enquiries are at a very early stage but there is nothing to suggest there are any suspicious circumstances.
"Next of kin have now been informed."
