SWANAGE Pier will be lit up with a display of colourful lights later this month.
The immersive lighting display will cover the whole pier, organisers say.
Swanage Pier Trust chief executive Ben Adeney, said: “The trust is delighted to provide this exciting experience for the first time on Swanage Pier and we look forward to welcoming visitors and the local community to the event.”
Lampposts on the Victorian structure will be illuminated, leading visitors up to the light show at the end of the pier where more coloured lighting will be on display.
A pier trust spokesman said: "The lighting on the lower deck will be set to music, immersing visitors in light waves and creating a glow across the surrounding water.
"On the Saturday night, outside Marine Villas, Kevin Burke will be performing his fire show in Swanage for the first time, featuring fire-eating, blowing and juggling.
"Then, on the Sunday night there will be two performances of his glow show, set to music, with an array of illuminated juggling props."
The event is set for Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October.
