A TAUNTON magician who has invented tricks for some of the most famous performers in the world is staging his own unique show in the town's Somerset Museum.

Kieron Johnson plans to tell his life story at Connected, which he is putting on at the museum on Saturday, November 9. He is promising a journey through his life through his magic designs.

Kieron has performed in several countries, including Israel, Sweden, Finland, China, America and France. He has been an especially big hit in Germany and Asia.

His tricks have been performed by David Blane, Troy Ben Hanlin and Todd Hogg.

But he is not so well known in his own country.

"I'm really looking forward to the Taunton gig," said Kieron, a married father of a toddler and a 16-week-old baby. "I love the town.

"I'm nervous about it and it will be interesting to see how it goes.

"I'm well known in other countries, but I'm trying to branch out over here. I have a young family and would like to work closer to home doing my own shows."

Kieron is also performing a Hallowe'en magic show for children at the Somerset Museum on October 30
