AN observant walker helped solve a crime this week.
Police have praised the member of the public who identified a stolen tractor while walking near Walford Cross.
The John Deere tractor was taken from Greenway Farm, East Combe, near Bishops Lydeard, on Sunday night.
It was taken along with a loader and front linkage.

Avon and Somerset Police tweeted: "You've done it AGAIN! Our John Deere tractor stolen from Eastcombe earlier this week, found by a walker near to Walford Cross."
