POLICE in Wellington have been working to tackle drug usage and supply around the town.
PCSO Steve Hill attended the latest meeting of Wellington Town Council to update the members on the latest police activity.
Within the report, he highlighted two incidents involving drugs.
On September 25, officers attended a house in Longforth Road and seized 1kg of white powder, suspected of being ketamine. A male resident later attended Taunton Police Station where he was questioned.
On October 1, officers attended a property in Parker Close where 167 cannabis plants were seized.
A man was arrested and another attended Wellington Police Station voluntarily to be questioned by officers.
