A CREECH St Michael recovery man has taken part in the dramatic recovery of a car that had plunged 200 metres over a cliff.
Jake Wilson, of First Choice Recovery, was called in months after the incident.
The driver of the car had accidentally driven into a pillar at Lynton, before his vehicle slid 25 metres down a hill.
Despite breaking his leg in the incident, the driver managed to escape from the car, which then hurtled over the cliff edge and plunged down towards the each below.
Jake said: "We are asked to help recover the wreckage.
"It took a lot of planning. We called in a helicopter, which winched the vehicle into the air and put it onto the back of our truck."
