MOTORISTS are being warned not to leave valuables in the car after a spate of vehicle thefts.

PCSO Steve Hill is urging people to be careful after four incidents involving stolen golf clubs.

In four separate attacks, cars were broken into and the goods were taken.

He said: Over the past week we have had four reports of vehicles being broken into by having the rear window smashed.

"Golf clubs have been taken from all four vehicle.

"Can I please ask everyone to make sure valuable items are removed especially overnight.

"Please report any vehicles broken into via 101."
