Stock fire engine shot for web use.
FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a fire in the back garden of Taunton flat.
Two fire engines from Taunton were sent to the incident in Middle Street at 5.13am on Friday (August 2).
When crews arrived they confirmed there was a fire in the back garden of a ground floor flat involving fencing and down pipes.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet, two thermal imaging cameras, small tools, short extension ladder and positive pressure fans.
They also checked surrounding flats and properties for further fire spread.
The fire involving refuse had spread to guttering of the property.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
