MORE than £6,000 was raised through donations at a stunning wildflower meadow in West Somerset.
The fields, in Monksilver, West Somerset, were put in place by Ken and Pauline Sellick of Stogumber.
This year's charity to benefit was Elliot's Touch, a charity set up by a Watchet couple.
Donna and Paul Stevens set up Elliot's Touch in 2015 after losing their 13-month-old son to mitochondrial disease, a rare genetic condition, and cardiomyopathy, a condition which affects the heart.
Visitors to the beautiful fields were urged to leave a donation after spending some time looking at the flowers.
A remarkable £6,017.67 was raised at the fields, which have now been closed.
Donne Stevens said: "We would like to say an enormous “thank you” to Ken and Pauline Sellick for kindly choosing us for their charity this year.
"It’s been an absolute pleasure to meet you both and work beside you both.
"Not only did you raise the profile of Elliot’s Touch this year by being in and on BBC News, radio interviews and newspaper articles, you also raised a whooping £6017,67.
"We cannot thank you enough.
"Thank you to everyone that has supported us by either volunteering to help man the field, visiting the flower field and donating.
"Ken has worked so very hard to make it such a beautiful and tranquil place."
