HUNDREDS of people have been visiting Taunton Toad Trail launch in the Orchard Shopping Centre today.
Two of the 22 toads being sited around the town and outlying area were revealed to the public at the event, which started at noon and goes on until 3pm.
Over the next two months families will be able to track down all the fibreglass toads with the help of a map.
And there's the chance to win a willow toad in a raffle.
Profits from the initiative will go to the League of Friends, which helps fund equipment at Musgrove Park Hospital.
Taunton Mayor Cllr Fran Smith, who unveiled the first toad in the shopping centre, said: "Taunton Toad Trail is absolutely brilliant for Taunton and the surrounding area.
"It's gong to be fun for children and families throughout the summer and good for the economy of the town.
"It will bring people from outside the town into Taunton and places such as the Willows and Wetlands, Oake and Norton Fitzwarren so they can see what a great area we live in."
