TAUNTON Deane MP Rebecca Pow is refusing to say who she supports in the race to become the UK's next Prime Minister.

The second ballot in the Conservative leadership challenge to replace Theresa May takes place today (Tuesday).

But Ms Pow will not say whether she backs odds on favourite Boris Johnson or whether she will vote for one of the other five candidates.

Her spokesman said: "She's not declaring who she's voting for at this time.

"She wants to listen to what everybody has to say before she reaches a decision. She's listening to all the candidates."

The secret poll is taking place in the Commons, with a result expected some time after 6pm.

Any candidate receiving less than 33 votes will be eliminated.

Boris Johnson is the clear frontrunner, followed by Jeremy Hunt and Michael Gove.

It would take a major upset for any of the other candidates - Dominic Raab, Sajid Javid and Rory Stewart - to win.
