FANCY running a pub in the scenic Exmoor National Park?

Well, now's your chance, as St Austell Brewery is on the lookout for a new tenant at the landmark Bridge Inn, at Dulverton.

The popular 19th Century country pub will officially become part of the brewery’s tenanted estate in July, but having already exchanged contracts, the firm launched a hunt to find a tenant to manage the venue, on the River Barle.

Steve Worrall, retail director at St Austell Brewery, said: “We’re delighted to add the Bridge Inn to our tenanted pub estate - a fantastic property and our first in Exmoor National Park.

"Having been managed so well for over 12 years by Kenny and Rachel McDonald, the Bridge Inn is a wonderful opportunity for somebody who wants a new challenge, running a successful pub in a stunning location.

“Our tenancy agreement provides people with the opportunity to take on a successful business that is at the centre of the local community, as well as attracting guests from far and wide.

"The Bridge Inn also benefits from being in one of the most beautiful locations in the UK - a great place to live and work.

"Naturally, it can be hard work, but our tenancies are ideal for those with a passion for hospitality and a strong head for business.”

The Bridge Inn comes with three-bedroom accommodation in the heart of Dulverton, a small town known as the southern gateway to Exmoor and located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
