DANCERS will showcase unique performances and offer families the chance to join special workshops at York Art Gallery later this month, in response to its Kaiser Chiefs exhibition.
The experimental exhibition,When All is Quiet: Kaiser Chiefs in Conversation with York Art Gallery, is exploring the boundaries between art and music.
York Dance Space will be performing throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, with an intergenerational cast of dancers from York, as they explore the exhibition’s themes of art, creation and performance.
For those wanting to try for themselves, family workshops will also be held, from 11am to12pm and 2.30pm to 3.30pm on Saturday and from 11am to 12pm on Sunday.
The workshops are included in the admission price and are appropriate for children of five years and older with a participating adult, with loose and comfortable clothing needed.
