A PROLIFIC thief has been jailed for 52 weeks for a string of offences.
Jamie Kenneth William Coles, 39, who gave his address as East Reach, Taunton, pleaded guilty to the crimes at Taunton Magistrates' Courts.
He admitted a total of five charges of theft; two counts of dishonestly handling stolen goods; eight counts of fraud; one of failing to surrender to bail; and failing to submit to a drugs test.
As well as a total of 52 weeks jail, Coles was also ordered to pay a £140 victim surcharge.
