A SERIAL middle-aged flasher has been sent down for six months.

Thomas Edward Harcombe, 52, of Ashford Close, Taunton, received his latest jail term for intentionally exposing his genitals in public in Milverton.

Magistrates told him significant aggravating factors behind his offence on August 28 included the location and timing.

Harcombe, who pleaded guilty when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court, was also ordered to pay £115 to help fund victim services and is required to register at Taunton Police Station on his release in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act.

He was also sent to prison for one week (concurrent) for failing to surrender to bail.

Harcombe received an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) in 2004 for flashing on a number of occasions and was jailed for four months in 2013 for common assault after he grabbed a 13-year-old girl and chased her as she ran home.

The girl was so terrified of him when he was released that the family put their house on the market, even though he was barred from entering the street where they lived.

She had been so scared of him that she collapsed in the street with a panic attack when she bumped into him days after the incident.
