Shoppers in Falmouth were treated to a rare performance on Monday, as a full brass band took to the streets to perform interpretations of modern dance hits.

Huge crowds of people gathered to watch the band, who played a brass rendition of Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams, which topped the charts in 2013.

One passer-by enjoyed the music so much she dropped her shopping bags and began dancing to the music.

Ian Johnson was walking along Market Street at around 1pm when he saw the band, and quickly stopped to capture some footage.

He said: “The band had been playing on the Moor and moved there.

“There must have been at least 100 people watching, with kids and grannies dancing in the street.

“Then this woman appeared, put down her shopping bags and started dancing - very good mover too.”

But these weren’t your regular buskers, it was an impromptu performance from Bass Twelve, from Cardiff, who were playing a show that evening at Finn McCouls.
