A SURGE of three holes in a row saw Kelvin Curtis win the Padbrook Park Summer Singles sponsored by Advanced PGA Professional Stuart Disney.

Elsewhere the Midweek Stableford was won by S Luxon after he finished on 21 points.

Luxon beat off competition from N Woodman, who finished as runner-up with 20 points, edging A Greenwood, T Martin and A Held, with S Held finishing in sixth.

Metcalf shot a 69 with the help of a birdie two on the 10th hole while Stuart Penfold, a further shot back, took third.
