OLYMPIC athlete Kriss Akabusi joined County Gazette staff Carole Bryan and Nick Grabham at the Skills Somerset event held at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, on Wednesday.
The event, supported by the Gazette, was a twist on the usual careers fair, offering young people from across the county more than 60 interactive stands on a large range of jobs, from bridge design to styling a mannequin and writing a newspaper report.
The 'get active' theme is aimed at making the fair unique and more interesting to visitors.
Kriss, pictured in the centre, was one of the speakers at a business conference held yesterday in association with Skills Somerset.
