AN amazing new free film club supported by Into Film is giving young people ages nine - 19 years old in and around Bridgwater the chance to watch, discuss and review great films.

To kick off the programme BFI Film Academy alumni and Engine Room volunteer Shannon Morton has selected the following films.

Her choices are: My Neighbour Totoro (U).

This is about a sweet, imaginative animated fable about a girl and her sister who move to a forest which is full of friendly spirits.

It will be shown on Wednesday, April 26, from 4.30pm until 6.30pm.

This is for young people aged nine-14.

Next up is Rushmore (15) on April 26, from 6.30pm - 8.30pm. It is for ages 15 -19 years.

This is Wes Anderson’s quirky black comedy about a teenager who’s useless in the classroom but king of extra-curricular activities falling for his refined teacher.

All screening take place at The Engine Room, 52, High Street, in Bridgwater.

Membership to the club is free- please note on first attendance a parent, grandparent or carer will be asked to sign a membership form.
