THE Two Rivers Festival is being held at Tiverton High School shortly before the Tiverton Balloon Festival.
On Monday, July 8 at 7pm, there is an unveiling of the murmuration of starlings on the roundabout in front of the school building and a Samba Band procession to the field followed by an evening of local school and community choirs and the Tiverton Town Band on the festival stage. Free entry.
Then on Tuesday, July 9, Le Navet Bete – a professional theatre company with a short performance of their latest work “Extaravaganza”
supported by performances from THS musicians, and actors – will perform. Free entry.
On Wednesday, TCAT and the Festival Players present A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The national touring professional production.
Bring a picnic. There is a matinee performance for Year 6 students and an evening production at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £14, available from Tiverton Tourist Information Centre or Northcott Theatre box office/website Finally on Thursday, July 11 at 7pm, there are performances from current and former Rock School students and THS dance students. Free entry.
