The themes this year are sculpture, working bigger in paint, electronic music, puppetry, animation and illustrating Shallal’s new poetry anthology.

The residency runs from October 1 and 31 and anyone who would like to get involved should contact Lou on shallalstudios@gmail.com

"We are really keen to get to know artists of all abilities in the Redruth and Camborne area, not only for our Back Lane West residency but for our new inclusive art studio at Krowji, so please do get in contact, and follow our progress this month on Instagram at shallalarts and Twitter @ShallalStudios,” said Shallal artist Lou Brett.

The residency will conclude with a sharing of work on Thursday, October 31, at Back Lane West, to which all are welcome.

Shallal champions real inclusion in the arts in Cornwall and has been running for 30 years.
