THE VINEYARD

There is a stone built barn that houses the tasting room and shop with the necessary secure wine stores. A further timber outbuilding houses the machinery, equipment and tractor storage. The vines cover approximately 6 acres and comprise a mixture of Bacchus, Pinot noir, Pinot précoce and Seyval blanc and the estate offers further planting opportunities. The estate s still and sparkling wines, which include a still dry white blend, a 100% Bacchus, a Pinot noir rose, a sparkling white and a sparking rosè, are produced locally by renowned winemakers Steve Brooksbank and Ian Edwards of Furleigh Estate.

2018 was an excellent harvest and the vineyard produced 17.7 tonnes of grapes. If you chose to convert all or most of the grapes into wine this will produce about 5,300 bottles of sparkling wine and 10,100 bottles of still wine. There are also a further 400 vines which are two years from full production and could add a further 1,500 sparkling bottles
