3:49pm Thursday 9th March 2006 in Beaches
With miles of coastline on some of the warmest UK waters, Somerset boasts some excellent beaches. Here is a selection...
St Audrie's Bay: Explore the beach and find the waterfalls.
Minehead: Great for families as miles of sandy beach.
Blue Anchor Bay. Pebbly beach but fun for splashing in the sea.
Porlock: Lovely seaside footpaths alongside this pebble strewn beach.
Burnham: Miles of golden sands, tourist hotspot, plenty to do.
Brean: Located in the shelter of Brean Down, miles of sandy beaches, plenty of accommodation available nearby.
Berrow: Sandy, joined to Brean, also offers plenty to do in beautific.
