CHAMPIONS: Falmouth United Blacks u15s celebrate their title success
Falmouth United u15s Blacks are pictured proudly showing off the u15's Barclay League Trophy which they received at Wendron.
The team had a terrific season which saw them finish the league campaign unbeaten, winning 13 matches drawing two and finishing six points above local rivals Falmouth Town who were runners up.
The club extends its thanks to Mawnan AFC for the kind use of their faclities during the season.
During this season the players raised a fantastic £5,000 to allow them to experience going on tour to Holland. Despite enduring arctic conditions and playing most of the games in snow and freezing temperatures the team had a terrific time.
The tour was made possible by the fundraising assistance given to the team by Asda, Sainsburys, Mawnan village hall, the Penhaligon family, the Mayor of Falmouth and Penryn Athletic FC (for the use of their facilities).
The manager, coach and players would like to express their thanks to all of the above.
