YEOVIL Town winger Andy Welsh has been praised by Glovers’ boss Terry Skiverton for his performance during the 4-1 victory at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.

Welsh was recalled to the starting line-up for the first time since the 3-1 defeat at home to Walsall on December 1 and he put in a great performance and scored a goal.

And Skiverton, speaking to the BBC, said: “Andy Welsh is a terrific player. He's got great experience and he was unlucky to be out of the team.

“He has come in today and shown what he can do as well.”
