YEOVIL Town's community officer Roy O'Brien has been sacked as manager of non-league Dorchester Town.
O'Brien, a former Yeovil player, saw his tenure as manager of the Magpies come to an end on Saturday evening after a 3-0 defeat at Weymouth in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.
A club statement from Dorchester said: "Roy O’Brien has been relieved of his duties as manager of Dorchester Town Football Club pending further enquiries.
"Ashley Vickers has agreed to take the role as manager in a caretaker capacity."
Dorchester will make another statement following the club's board meeting tonight.
