TAUNTON RFC manager Julian Holloway has welcomed new signing Gavin Hancock to the club.

Hancock is a quick winger/full-back and has played all of his senior rugby for Bridgwater and Albion RFC.

During his six years with the Albion he has proved to be a prolific try scorer for them and now Holloway will be hoping he the new lad will do the same for Taunton.

A club spokesman said: “Gav will bring a huge amount of National League experience to an already successful back division.”

Competition is now strong at Taunton for a spot in the back three along with Charlie Walker-Blair, Ben Rudkin, Matt Ayres, Alan Gill and David Webber.
