CHARD 1st XV are in for a challenging assignment this weekend as they face Drybrook away from home in South West One.

Having seen last weekend’s clash with table-topping Weston-super-Mare fall victim to the weather, Chard now travel to the fourth-placed side looking for vital points as they battle at the wrong end of the table.

They will be hoping for a better showing than in the reverse fixture, which saw Drybrook score 50 points without reply when the two sides met in October.

The 2nd XV are at Minehead Barbarians 2nds in Somerset 2S looking to close the gap between themselves and the top half.

The 3rd XV, meanwhile, are at home to bottom side North Petherton in Somerset 3S.

All the above matches begin at 3pm.
