TAUNTON Town were knocked out of the FA Trophy after going down to a 4-1 defeat to Bognor Regis Town in the second Round Qualifying at the Viridor Stadium on Saturday.
The Peacocks can have no complaints after another disappointing performance, despite Josh Klein-Davies capitalising on a a goalkeeping howler to give the Peacocks the lead after only two minutes.
The Sussex side hit back to draw level on 22 minutes when Ollie Pearce's cross deflected off Ben Carter at the near post - and barely a minute later the visitors went ahead through Chike Kandi who was given too much space to fire past Lloyd Irish from the edge of the box.
Bognor added a third on 73 minutes when a free kick was played short to Jason Prior whose shot went in off Irish at his near post and the scoring was concluded four minutes later when Alfie Rutherford fired home an angled shot into the far corner.
