THE Blues go in search of league points, and revenge for a penalty kick elimination from the Somerset County League Knock Out Cup last month, when they travel to Bridgwater Town Reserves tomorrow for a 3pm kick off.

The match also presents Minehead with the opportunity to win their first league double of the season, having beaten Bridgwater 2-0 at Irnham Road on the first Saturday of the season, however their hosts have been unbeaten since the cup victory in early November, a run of seven games.

Minehead Reserves, who lost 6-1 at Dulverton last Saturday having taken the lead at 1-0, were in midweek action against Bishops Lydeard Reserves on Wednesday evening.

They now have a break from football until January 10 when they return to league action.

The first team have no such luxury as they have the big derby at Watchet’s Memorial Ground to prepare for on Saturday 27.
