ALL roads lead to Taunton Racecourse on December 30 when the seven race card has a whopping prize pot of £53,500 on offer – the richest meeting of the season so far.

The biggest race on the card is the Totepool Betting On All UK Racing Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle Race, over two miles one, a Class One Race with a massive prize fund of £20,000 which goes to post at 2.40pm and is likely to attract a strong entry.

This is followed 30 minutes later by the Steve Logan Memorial (County Contractors) Handicap Steeple Chase, a Class Three Race over half a furlong short of 3m, with prize money of £10,000 on offer.

County Contractors from Weston-Super-Mare are in their 11th year of sponsorship of this race and the management at Taunton would like to thank them for their continued support.

The gates open at 10.30am and action kick off at 12.40pm with the Totesport Handicap Hurdle race over 2m 1f followed half an hour later by the Totexacta Handicap Hurdle over 3m ½f – the longest race of the day.
