WEDMORE Reserves needed extra-time to book their place in the second round of the Davis Shield, as they pipped Clevedon United B 4-3 on Saturday.
Hutton Reserves were comfortable 8-1 winners at Uphill Castle A – while Hutton’s first team beat Wrington Redhill Reserves 4-2 in the Atwell Shield.
In league action, Winscombe Reserves beat Weston Super Seagulls 3-2 in Division 1 – and Draycott thrashed Yatton Athletic Reserves 7-0.
In Division 2, Burnham United A remain rock bottom after they were beaten 2-1 at Clevedon United A – and league leaders Sporting Weston were 2-0 winners at home to Axbridge Town.
Worle Rangers have slipped slightly off the pace at the top following a 2-1 home defeat to St George E-i-G, who have gone level on points in second place.
