HARVEST Moon B anchor woman Jane Foster hit a final hand 14 to secure a point in their second drawn game of the season in Division A of the Bridgwater & District Ladies’ Skittles League.

A final hand 64 by home team Lime Kiln with Moon B only two pins up, meant the visitors needed 63 to secure all the points.

After the top order only managed to hit 24 and a further 24 hit by the next three ladies, it left Jane 15 and, in a valiant effort, she hit the 14 to tie the game. Jane also took the honours on the alley with top score 66.

Harvest Moon A secured their second home win of the season opening with a 77 hand and managing to pull pins on five of the seven hands – visitors Globe B Cann having to play Mrs X.

The George team appear to have found their winning form, this time at the Lamb N/P and secured another three away points to lift them from the bottom of the table.

Leaders Mansion House got over their loss last week with a 27-pin home win against Stockland.

Division B leaders OVH had another away win, this time at second place Globe A Cann who, despite the loss, remain second as nearest rivals Thatchers’ game against Lamb A N/P was postponed.
