CHARD Road Runners took part at at the weekend in the Castle Neroche, Herepath Half – a very challenging mainly off-road race.
Against a strong field of 124 competitors from across the South-West, the Runners produced some excellent performances.
Martin Holley set the pace for the Runners although Richard Cave temporarily passed him before conceding superiority at the last water stop. Gavin Wyatt took to the mud well while just a minute separated Maria Wadey and Paul Fraser with just a at the end of 13.1 miles.
