IN Division One, Shunter’s skittler Jon Mear was in sparkling form at the Victoria Hotel.
He had five spares in his total of 90, as his team easily defeated the Snurgers by 46 pins.
The win takes them joint top with the Bombers, Tryer's and the Gunners.
Bombers defeated the Tryer's by 12 pins at the Pawlett Legion in a surprisingly low scoring match for this alley.
Only a first hand of 95 by the Bombers which pulled 25 pins, and set up the victory, was the only big hand of the night, Steve McCleary topped the board with 72 for the Bombers, while Mark Hembury replied with 73 for the Tryer's.
Steve Puddy's 89 at the Lighthouse Inn wasn't enough to secure the two points as they lost by three pins to the inform Gunners.
At the Lympsham Pavillion, the Cowboys scored an impressive total of 529 as they cruised to a 62-pin victory over the Robins - Kev Perrett 77 and Pat Hancock 73, did most of the damage.
In Division Two, the Odds & Ends defeated the Four Finger Club by 18 pins at the Morlands Club and now go joint top with them.
Dan Connelly finished top of the board with 70 for the Odds & Ends.
Elsewhere Mark Raymond rattled up 79 for The Hedgejumpers at the Berrow Club as his team defeated the Mauricemen by 45 pins.
The Mauricemen never recovered from a first hand of only 46.
In Division Three, the Ghosttrains made it four wins from five as they saw off the Bombardiers by 26 pins at the Pawlett Legion - Simon Besley 79 and Ron Harris 78 were the main contributors.
Two last hands of 82 and 96 pulled 57 pins for the Bellends at the Bristol Bridge, which took their winning margin to 64 pins over the Berrow Hotel, Ryan Manlow topped the board with 81.
In Division Four, Top House lead by two points after they were 28 pins to good for the Outcasts at the Highbridge Social Club, at the Basonbridge Inn the Legionaires had a welcome 23 pin victory over the White Rebels.
