Team Lick Racing make good start to the season

TEAM Lick Racing were back on the road Saturday heading for the EMRA Championship first round at Mallory Park.

Practice and qualifying took Dean Nicholls and Ashley Moore a few laps to understand the conditions and get tyres up to temperature.

Team Lick managed to qualify second for Race one and two.

The first race started well, leading for the first four laps before slipping down to second. The pair struggled for grip and bought it home in second for race one.

They had a while to wait till race two and their main objective was to keep warm as the temperature started to drop. Race two got under way in terrible conditions and fought hard from the off, and after lapping other teams was unable to gain on first place, Dean and Ashley settled for second in race two.

Team Lick Racing next round is on the March 23 and 24 at Snetterton 300.
