A LAST-MINUTE try helped Bridgwater snatch a share of the points in a tight affair with Wiveliscombe.

The visitors opened the scoring with two penalties before Rob Taylor's unconverted try evened the game up.

Bridgwater went into the lead at half-time as Simon Buck ran over the line on the half-hour mark with Nick Smith converting.

In the second half, Wiveliscombe scored a penalty and a converted try before Dave Norman made it 17-16 with his first try of the game.

Two more penalties from the visitors gave them a 22-17 lead but Norman popped up again with seconds left on the clock to score a converted try.

Next week, the team travel to Crewkerne. Kick-off is 2.30pm.
