GOLF: Jim Dale on form at Oake Manor
NORMAL service was resumed at Oake Manor as the competition season got under way after the winter rains.
With the course looking in immaculate condition, Jim Dale took the honours in Division 1 of the Stableford event, winning with a creditable 41 points.
Paul Spackman was second with 39pts while Clive Thorne was third with 36pts.
Andy Cooper claimed first spot in the Saturday Stableford with 36pts ahead of Ian Dannon (34).
