AFTER ten years of training Bridgwater’s Matt Bloska has been awarded a first Dan black belt in jujitsu.
Bloska started training with KJ2 when he was 16 and over the years he has developed many skills including excellent striking, takedowns, throws, and ground skills and he has also achieved coaching status.
Bloska has also competed in jujitsu, judo, Muay Thai and MMA and has never failed to bring back a medal.
Martyn Lawson head coach at KJ2 said: “The elusive black belt is only rarely awarded under the Bushido Zazen Association.
“In nearly 30 years of my coaching I have only ever awarded one other black belt in jujitsu.
To attain this grade you need to show great skill, dedication and commitment.”
