Four sides play in Uxella Sunday League
JUST four sides beat the weather to get a game on in the Uxella Bridgwater Sunday League at the weekend.
In the Geoff Harvey Cup First Round, Cornhill claimed the spoils 2-1 at Huntspill Crowns thanks to goals from Mark Passmore and Gareth Monaghan.
The only other game was in Division 2 and saw Huntspill BPH beat Puriton by the same scoreline as George Weston and Dan Long netted but an own goal gifted Huntspill the win.
All other matches were postponed.
