FIVE more riders confirming their participation in the Christmas Cracker Meeting being staged at Somerset's Oaktree Arena on Friday, December 28, it now means that there are just four places left to fill in order to complete the 16-rider field.

The meeting will now see two of the 2012 Rebels septet returning to the Oaktree Arena, namely Kyle Newman and James Wright, with Newman being due to return to the UK on Christmas Eve after a stint riding in Australia as part of the Darren and Sharon Boocock Scholarship.

Ipswich's new number 1 for the 2013 season, Ben Barker, Barker's 2012 team-mate at Plymouth, American Ryan Fisher, GB International, Lewis Bridger, and Dutchman Randy Oldenziel, Ricky Ashworth, David Howe and Simon Lambert will also be at the event.

Admission prices for the meeting have been set at £16 for adults, £12 concessions and £4 for juniors 12-16.

Children aged 11 and under will be admitted free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult (maximum of two children per adult); additionally, there will be a Family Ticket (two adults, two juniors) available at £36.

IN the meantime, the Somerset Rider's Equipment Fund (SREF) are to hold a winter fund-raiser at the Oaktree Arena on Thursday, December 6, at which the Rebels promotion will give feedback on the recent BSPA Promoters' Conference as well as hopefully being able to announce some of the Somerset riding signings for the 2013 season.

The evening will get underway at 7.30pm, with admission being £3 for adults (payable at the door) with children admitted free of charge.
