TIVERTON Town equalled their biggest win of the season today when they beat Fleet Town 4-0 at Ladysmead.
The first half saw Fleet Town take the game to their hosts and Alex Faux brilliantly cleared off the line from the impressive Rob Carr’s shot in the 16th minute.
A minute later Chris Wright in the Yellows' goal denied Carr with a superb save.
At the other end Owen Howe set-up Jimmy Hinds whose shot was well saved by Ryan Pryce but he was beaten soon afterwards as Jake Wannell advanced into the box, side-stepped a challenge and fired into the roof of the net.
Just before the break Tivvy should have increased their lead as Tony Lee was through and tried to lob Pryce who did well to deny him.
Just after the break Lee blasted over a Faux cross but Tivvy did increase their lead in the 53rd minute, James Richards cross headed home by Hinds.
Ten minutes later it was all over as Howe’s shot was deflected home by Lee.
Substitute Jamie Mudge put the icing on the cake with a deflected fourth for his eighth of the season.
