RACEGOERS can look forward to another exciting afternoon of action tomorrow (Tuesday) when Taunton host their third meeting of the month with the first race getting underway at 1.30pm.

With 71 horses declared and racing conditions of soft, several leading trainers have runners including Paul Nicholls, David Pipe and Philip Hobbs.

Top jockeys like A P McCoy, Aidan Coleman, Sam Twiston-Davies, Noel Fehily, Richard Johnson are all booked to ride so there will be plenty for all to enjoy.

The big race of the day is The Superman and War Elephant Challenge Handicap Hurdle race at 3.30pm, which is a Class 3 event and runs over two miles and a furlong.

Racegoers are reminded that a courtesy coach departs from Taunton Railway Station two hours before racing and returns from the course 30 minutes after the start of the final race.

Taunton are next in action on Thursday, February 5 when the first race goes to post at 2.05pm.
