TIVERTON Town make a quick return to Sholing tomorrow with revenge on their mind following a 1-0 defeat by the same opponents in the FA Trophy last weekend.
This time their trip to Southampton will see three Southern league points at stake.
And they will go there with renewed confidence following a morale-boosting 4-3 penalty shootout victory away to Conference side Torquay United in the St Luke’s Devon Bowl on Tuesday.
The match finished 0-0 after extra time.
Following their success over Torquay the Yellows have been drawn against Mid Devon rivals and FA Cup giant-killers Willand in the quarter-finals.
Willand, whose cup exploits were finally ended by Gosport Borough two weeks ago, are now making a real bid for promotion from the Toolstation Western league.
Last Saturday they won 5-1 at home to Cadbury Heath and then followed that up on Tuesday with a 5-2 success away to Longwell Green Sports.
