Helston 115 (39.1) lost to Camborne 119-5 (26.4) by five wickets
Helston suffered a fifth defeat in six County Division 1 matches with a five-wicket loss at home to Camborne.
Helston had picked up their first win of the season last weekend after four straight defeats, but returned to losing ways after being bowled out for 115.
The hosts won the toss and chose to bat, with Karl Leathley (27) and Chris Martin (14) reaching 46 before the former was caught by Matt Hewitt off Daniel Hocking's delivery.
The score hadn't changed before Martin swiftly followed after being caught by Liam Weeks.
Leathley's 27 was his side's second highest total, with Stephen Wiseman (2), Justin Matthews (0), Jason Weeks Jnr (0) and Ross Leathley (10) all falling by the wayside as Helston reached 84-6.
Leathley's score was bettered only by captain Steve Jenkin who scored 38 off 72 balls before he was Alfie MacDonald's first of three victims for just 14 runs, with only Steve Eddy's 8 not out the only additional score as Helston were bowled out for 115 in the 40th over.
Despite losing Stephen Richards (8) cheaply early on, fellow opener Weeks was on hand to turn the tide back in the visitors' favour with 52 not out off 78 balls.
Simon Hosking (15), Nick King (11) and Sam Pooley (13) added double-figure hauls to take Camborne to within a handful of runs from victory, with Jordan Harvey (4) and Hewitt (8no) getting them comfortably over the line in the 27th over.
