Falmouth Town boss Andrew Westgarth described his side's 2-1 victory over Saltash United to lift the Cornwall Senior Cup trophy on Easter Monday as a "massive achievement".

Town were a goal down after just three minutes at Bodmin Town's Priory Park but levelled soon after through captain Joe Cooper, before James Ward scored with ten minutes to go to seal Town's first Senior Cup crown for 22 years.

After the game Ward praised his fellow team-mates for their attitude throughout the season in overcoming various setbacks, such as injuries to key squad members throughout the campaign.

Westgarth also described how much the win meant for him as a Falmouth boy, and reflected on what it meant for his family after his father lifted the Cornwall Junior Cup.
