Advent Calendar day 12 - Culdrose ladies win first game in 931 days
The 11th picture of the Packet's sports advent calendar is of the RNAS Culdrose women's football team, who recorded their first victory for nearly three years in October.
The Phoenixes ended a run of 931 days without a win when they won 7-4 in their Earthbound Electrical Cornwall Women’s Football League Division 2 game, moving off the bottom of the table as a result.
The team’s last competitive win was a 2-1 victory at Mousehole in their final game of the 2015/16 season, some 931 days before Sunday’s triumph.
