Falmouth Town continued their march towards the top of the Combination League with a 4-1 win at home to West Cornwall.
Town led on 35 minutes when Oscar Fergus-Gay squared for Gavin Perraton to score his 16th goal of the season, before Fergus-Gay himself doubled the lead soon after.
Fergus-Gay doubled his personal tally with a header early in the second half, while Joel Allen made it four with a header from Liam Chinn’s free-kick.
The points were safely in the bag but Town were denied a clean sheet to match with West Cornwall bagging a consolation.
Helston Athletic missed the chance to close the gap on the top four as they lost 3-2 at St Ives.
Max Davies scored twice in the first 25 minutes to put the hosts two up, before Craig Tanner pulled one back on the half-hour mark.
Joe Day restored St Ives’ two-goal lead five minutes into the second half with an excellent finish, with Tanner pulling another back 70 minutes but the hosts held on for all three points.
Wendron United earned a 3-0 victory at home to RNAS Culdrose.
Dron led through Elliott Webb who headed Will Paul’s free-kick past the Culdrose ‘keeper, with Lucas Potts doubling the lead before Webb’s penalty wrapped up proceedings.
Perranwell moved into the top half thanks to a 4-0 win at home to Porthleven, with Ian Bromwell scoring a hat-trick before Will Snapes scored an excellent fourth.
