Penryn 17, Old Dunstonian 39

Due to the first XV having a league game scheduled for the following day, it was a much changed Penryn side that took to the field for the annual match against the Kent tourists.

The hosts included a number of "Golden Oldies" that took to the pitch at the Memorial Ground for the traditional Good Friday game.

It was Penryn who took the lead after just two minutes when Ollie Bush grounded, with the conversion attempt missing. Within moments though, the visitors hit back to take the lead after their opening try was successfully converted for a 7-5 lead. A further try extended the tourists' lead to 12-5.

With half time approaching, Mitchell Vague tied the scores after he converted his own try, but once more it was the visitors who went back ahead after landing a penalty.

The game then took a decisive turn in Old Dunstonian's favour with two converted tries as they went out to a 29-12 lead. Ollie Evans' try gave Borough renewed hope before two unconverted tries from ODs sealed their 39-17 success.
