FALMOUTH Town moved into fifth spot in SWPL Premier after a fine 4-1 win at Camelford last night.

Red hot striker Jordan Annear for once fluffed his lines when he missed a first half penalty, but normal order was restored when he latched on to Harry Clarke's through-ball after half an hour and slotted home.

Soon afterwards a long shot from Luke Brabyn was spilled by the Camelford keeper and Marcello Jones pounced to double their lead.

Annear was on target again to put Town firmly in command at the break and second half substitute Rob Wearne scored on his return to the club from St Austell.

Josh Insley grabbed a late consolation for the hosts.

Helston's long losing sequence was finally ended with a superb 3-0 win at Torpoint Athletic on Tuesday night.

The deadlock was not broken until the 68th minute, when Tom Russell scored from close range.

Substitute Kyle Marks doubled the lead nine minutes from time and a splendid individual effort from Phil Cattran sealed the points for the Blues.

Helston's opponents this Saturday are Witheridge, who suffered a 6-0 home defeat to Tavistock last night.

On Tuesday, Plymouth Parkway recorded their 13th straight win to maintain their 100 per cent record with a 7-1 demolition of Callington.
